LOGAN FOX
ART OF THE PORTRAIT

NOVEMBER 2-4
$200

Immerse yourself in the teaching of master instructor Logan Fox as we learn how to create insightful, engaging portraits! Combining traditional methodology with sensitive line and "right-brain" teaching, Logan will pass on his innate ability to go beyond a mere likeness to capture the essence of form. The first two days will be an in-depth study of facial structure, proportion, and value to develop accurate and convincing likeness; on day 3 we apply that knowledge with a live model.

All 2D mediums are welcome - painting, drawing, etc. Please contact for specific supplies for your preferred medium. Logan will be using water-miscible oil.
Logan Fox is a master instructor whose students get immediate results. His teaching is based on Betty Edwards' "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain", and his own discovery of what he calls "sensitive line". He has an innate ability to go beyond a mere likeness to capture the essence of form, and his love of people.

Logan was born red/green color blind but has mastered the use of color by collaborating for 10 years with a color genius (J.S. Brown) under the psuedonym Butcher John Henry.
He will be using water-based oils and collage on canvas but students may use any medium they choose as Logan has experience in all mediums and most painting techniques.
